disposition--retention regulations and practices. Discussion of how
records management concepts and contexts differ from archives and
library organization and retrieval systems."

"The physical nature of materials and the causes of deterioration.
Techniques for promoting longevity; environmental control; storage
and handling practices; and reformatting. Disaster planning and

- Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum:
The Baseball Hall
of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, NY, is accepting applications

is also available to discuss internship opportunities and independent
studies at Rutgers SC/UA.
Past Internships
- SCILS students have interned at Rutgers University Special Collections and University Archives in preservation, archives, and rare book cataloguing.
Students have also interned at various Princeton libraries, the Grolier Club in New York, the Institute
for Jazz Studies in Newark, and the Monmouth County Historical Association.
